SGS Certificate
Stroma’s Certification schemes for Energy assessment and Competent Person Schemes (CPS) are approved by the Department of Communities and Local Government (CLG).
Only approved and verified assessors can lodge Energy Performance Certificates(EPC.)

Stroma Certification’s Competent Person Schemes (CPS):
- Installation of Microgeneration and Renewable Technologies

- Part P Installation of fixed low or extra low voltage electrical installations
Stroma Certification has UKAS accreditation under BS EN 45011:1998 - for operating product certification systems, for the delivery of Microgeneration Certification Schemes for renewable technologies: Solar Photovoltaics (PV), Solar Thermal and Heat Pumps. The MCS, a recognised quality assurance scheme, for low to zero carbon (LZC) installation and renewable technologies, promotes a ‘mark’ of competency to demonstrate installations are carried out to the highest quality each time.
Stroma Certification is licensed by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to run the following Microgeneration Certification Schemes (MCS):
- Solar Photovoltaics (PV)
- Solar Thermal
- Heat Pumps
The MCS scheme is accredited under UKAS BS EN 45011:1998
The REAL Assurance Scheme acknolledges that Stroma has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code. The Office of Fair Trading as part of its self-regulation initiative, the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme, backs this Code.
Stroma designated by Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) as a Company Certification body for the Purposes of the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2009 which requires all businesses which install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump (SRAC) equipment containing F gas to be certificated.
Stroma Certification Ltd’s examination is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) for the Code for Sustainable Homes scheme under ISO 17024:2003.
Stroma Certification is one of only three organisations in the UK licensed to provide CSH certification
UKAS Accreditation
Approved to provide ABBE recognised awards once candidates have undergone training, ABBE is a specialist awarding body that provides nationally recognised qualifications for the Built Environment industry.
Approved to provide City & Guilds recognised awards once candidates have undergone training with an accredited qualification body.
