Role overview

Technical Administrator
Location: Wakefield (Hybrid working can be discussed)
What you will be doing?

Proving technical administration support to the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Manager for Stroma Built Environment Ltd and Stroma Specialist Access Ltd, in respect of providing support in maintaining the company's management systems in line with the ISO accreditation and other accreditation requirements.

The role will include, but not limited to, after suitable training, maintaining a documented pre-qualification supplier requests and completion and return of associated forms and supporting documentation, responding to client's insurance enquiry requests, completion monthly of internal quality audits ,maintaining specific accreditation and supplier portals on an ongoing basis, and on quarterly basis review and update Quality Standards list.

You will need to be able to communicate with external customers and liaise closely with other departments within the Stroma businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain a documented pre-qualification supplier request system for both Stroma businesses and the completion and return of associated forms and supporting documentation to our client. Additionally, where requested completing client request forms through their own specified qualification portals, as directed.
  • Deal with client request for company insurance details.
  • Complete documented internal audits on the Stroma businesses management system, on a monthly basis under the direction of the QHSE Manager.
  • Maintain specific accreditation and certification portals on an ongoing basis, for both Stroma businesses.
  • Update and Review on quarterly basis Quality Standard listings for both businesses, feeding back any changes to the QHSE Manager.
  • Maintain and develop a Training Matrix for Stroma Built Environment Ltd, detailing certifications held and their expiry dates. Retaining within documented folders, copies of certifications held by Stroma Built Environment Ltd personnel for use in client and accreditation portals requests of evidence submissions.
What you will need:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly organised individual with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. You will also need to be an analytical and problem-solving individual who has clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.

To be considered, ideally you must have:

  • Previous administrative/operational experience
  • Strong communication skills and organisational abilities.
  • Previous experience in an audit/analytical focused role would be preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly PowerPoint & Excel

Building inspections and provision of difficult access maintenance utilising specialist rope access solutions where required.
