Role overview

Thermographer

To undertake thermographic surveys of buildings on site for the purpose of identifying any thermal anomalies in the building fabric that might be attributable to inconsistencies in insulation, air-leakage, water ingress, etc.

Production of reports relating to reviewed construction details, on site developments and workmanship review

Location: Nationwide
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key responsibilities & Duties:
  • Conduct thermographic surveys at sites throughout the UK
  • Concise reporting with follow up discussion if required
  • Responding to client technical queries
  • Ongoing development of Stroma & thermography service offering
Person Specification:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance thoroughness with commercial demands
  • Clear and confident communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Autonomous but also team player
  • Shows initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Pragmatic with flexible approach
Experience & Qualifications required:
  • Ideally PCN/ITC level 2 qualified, along with a demonstrable understanding of building anatomy.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use pdf mark ups, email and manage files
  • The ability to generate quality reports (using bespoke software) is also a prerequisite along with good customer handling skills and team working ability.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Full driving license valid in the UK
